
Antioxidants
In the case of increased temperature, in the presence of oxygen and in the case of mechanical load lubricants age very strongly. These radical-induced oxidations cause acids which lead to the molecular degradation and finally to the failure of the lubricant. Antioxidants from the LUBIO® AO series transfer the triggering radicals into stable compounds, prevent the degradation reactions and thus slow down the ageing of lubricants.
